Asymmetrical shape. One flat narrow side with edges, and one convex narrow side without. D-shaped cross-section. Shaft hole placed towards axe neck; sharp hole edges. Smoothly polished surface. Transversely perforated “shoe-last celt” (German: “Schuhleistenkeil”) (i.e. originally unperforated adze blade, transformed into an perforated axe in a second phase). The form is current in South-Eastern and Central Europe. Rock material, brown flecked with black. Intact; a few scratches on surface, ancient chipped areas on perforated sides, in particular in next to perforation (probably caused by drilling action), as well as small surface damages in blade area.
