Asymmetrically hewn tool, traces of retouch on both surfaces. Oval to semicircular outline. Relatively flat cross-section. One roughly hewn and one more finely hewn edge (= working edge). Standard shape of the Moustérien technocomplex, type "Quina". Beige-white rock with discolourations. Flat end restored.

Formerly priv. coll. Hervé Bouraly, collector and antiques dealer at Marché Dauphine, Saint Ouen, Paris, collection assembled between 1965-1990. Inscription on object: "BÉRULLES 26 FÉV 1988 R.D."
